I mentioned before that I am leaning towards having the Makeup to Go! blog redesigned in the near future. This is still in the thinking process, not even in the planning process. In the meantime I did make a minor change – widened my margins – which should make it easier to read. To my eyes, this is much easier. Let me know what you think!

At long last I’ve gotten the Tweet Old Posts plug-in working on my blog. What does that mean you may ask? Tweet Old Posts does exactly what the name suggests: it brings back old blog posts that may have been missed for your re-reading pleasure. My Tweet Old Posts will all have the title “Past MTG Goodness” so you can easily decipher them from the new blog posts. I’ve also edited out time sensitive posts (like Sales, etc.) from being included.

I had some really good content back in the day. LOL! So while I get new really good content together for ya, enjoy some of our older Goodness.

EDIT 6/11/12 – Problems Solved! I shut this functionality off on Saturday when I noticed it was not doing what I wanted it to do. I am pleased to say it has now all been corrected. Now when it tweets an old post the link will be included AND I have spaced it out so it will only re-tweet old items once every few days. We’re not trying to inundate you with old content, we just want to occasionally bring back some things you may find of interest.

OK so there are more than a few exciting developments are taking place with regards to how I want to conduct my workshops moving forward (product sponsorship, facilities, and my “patented” teaching methodology) that are necessitating my moving the workshops into the New Year. Trust me: It will be worth the wait! Teaching is a passion, not my primary money maker. I still work primarily as an on-set artist. I teach because working with new artists inspires me and it is my way of giving back to the makeup community. Therefore – I do not ever want to do just any ole class. I want my classes to ROCK!

In the meantime as many emerging artists were interested in my classes, bear in mind that I do teach private lessons as well as small groups and those can be arranged more easily on a more flexible schedule.
